Library databases
The way you locate library databases has changed. There are now several ways to find databases and the associated licence information:
Option 1
Go to the library homepage and click on the “databases” link under the search box and you will go to the “Library databases search” page. Here you can browse databases by subject area (including current trials), access individual databases through the A-Z list or do a keyword search to locate a database.
Option 2
Once in the library catalogue, select the “Library databases” option from the left hand side of the page and you will be taken to the “Library databases search” page outlined above.Option 3
Once in the library catalogue, go to the drop down list to the left of the search box and select “Database title” or “Database subject” and enter your search terms in the search box.
Option 4
Once in the library catalogue, select “Advance keyword” from the left hand side of the page, enter you search terms and select “Library databases” as the content type limit.
Once you locate the database record in the catalogue, you can view the associated licence information by clicking on the “Summary of licence” link located near the top of the record.
