Teachers in the tutoring industry refers to "...those who possess teaching qualifications from recognised institutions" (Standards Australia 5).
In the tutoring industry it is recognised that the term tutor denotes someone that provides tuition, whereas a person who is called a teacher is someone who has formal teaching qualifications (Standards Australia 5).
