In accordance with the AASW guidelines, credit for prior learning on the basis of Informal learning will only be considered towards one (the first) field education subject in a social work program (i.e. 3012HSV Social Work Field Placement 1).
Only formal work experience, tasks and duties in line with social work roles, tasks and functions will be considered when granting credit for prior learning.
Credit towards coursework courses within the Bachelor of Social Work will not be granted on the basis of Informal and/or Non-formal learning.

- Notwithstanding the amount of credit which may be granted, students must ensure that they choose a program of study which meets the requirements of their degree and is in accordance with University Credit Transfer Policy.
