Graduates of the 2020 Diploma of Science who are admitted to the Bachelor of Marine Science will receive 40-80CP* credit transfer from the below:
- 80CP for no minor;
- 70/80CP for Coastal Management minor (lower amount if 5903LHS required);
- 60/70CP for Marine Chemistry minor (lower amount if 5903LHS required);
- 60CP for Marine Ecology minor;
- 40CP for Coastal Oceanography minor.

Students who have completed other elective courses in the Diploma will have total credit confirmed at time of enrolment at Griffith University. Maximum 20CP Free-choice electives can be awarded.

Students can complete the Bachelor of Marine Science in 2-3 years (160-200CP), depending on chosen minor, commencing in Trimester 1 or 2.
