Youth Violence Symposium

The symposium provides a unique opportunity to learn about research on youth violence and violence in the school context. A key focus for the symposium reflects the need to understand and implement effective policy and program responses to youth violence. Presentations will address the following topic areas: violence in schools; bullying and cyber bullying; weapons in schools; youth justice responses to youth violence; juvenile sex offending; as well as additional contexts of youth violence.

World Music Series: Evening Ragas on Santur: Spirit of India - Shiv Kumar Sharma

A legend of Indian classical music opens the Conservatorium's new world music series. The gentle sounds and exciting rhythms of Shiv Kumar Sharma's 100-string santur (a predecessor of the piano) have entranced audiences all over the world for five decades.
