10th IAPR International Workshop on Document Analysis Systems
The 10th IAPR International Workshop on Document Analysis Systems will take place at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia during March 27-29th, 2012. As usual DAS is a 100% participation, single-track workshop with guest speakers, oral, poster, and demo sessions as well as working group discussions. The workshop proceedings will be published by IEEE. After the workshop, it is planned that selected papers will be chosen for a journal special issue.

Since My Soul Loved ***NB: NEW START TIME of 6pm)
This is the Australian premiere of the piano quintet Since My Soul Loved by Yitzhak Yedid. Inspired by literature, philosophy, art and landscapes, Yedid's compositions form a narrative of pictures, textures and colours. His music combines classical genres with free modern improvisation and Eastern and Jewish music styles, breaking out of defined frameworks to produce a unique and original sound. $15 / $10 at the door
