Musica Viva: St Lawrence String Quartet & Diana Doherty

As one of the best oboists in the world, Diana Doherty does more than merely play her instrument, she makes it dance. With the dynamic St Lawrence String Quartet as her partner, Doherty almost turns the concert hall stage into a dance floor as she moves seamlessly through works as disparate as Hindson and Mozart. These five outstanding performers give you the sneaking suspicion that inside every musician is the heart of a dancer. $33-$76 Bookings: qtix 136 246 or www.qtix.com.au
