Using a Time Machine to Explore Atomic Physics

Laser systems can be viewed as a time machine that can effectively 'freeze time' and investigate, as well as control, these very fast atomic and molecular processes. I will explore some of the ground-breaking research that we apply with our time machine, the Australian Attosecond Science Facility, at Griffith University.
