World Music Series: Joseph Tawadros Duo
Only 28, Joseph Tawadros has established a reputation as an outstanding performer on the oud (the Arab ancestor of our lute). Joseph has featured at the Sydney and Cairo Opera Houses, Womadelaide, National Multicultural Festival an Institut Du Monde Arabe (Paris) . He has worked with such artists as tabla master Zakir Hussain, Slava Grigoryan, William Barton, Karin Schaupp and Katie Noonan. Tonight he will perform with his brogher James on req. $15/$10 at the door
