In our society "sugar" is a bad word linked to obesity and diabetes. However, not all sugar is bad for you. In fact, you could not live without it. This lecture will focus on how the simple sugar fucose is crucial for a number of interactions important for human health.

Holiday Campus Tours
School holiday campus tours are now being offered for the term three school holidays at our Gold Coast and Nathan campuses. Tours will run at 10am, 12pm and 2pm from 25th - 27th September and from 2nd - 4th October.

Deeming of days in Semester 2, 2012
Logan campus has two public holidays that fall on a Monday during Semester 2, 2012. They are 13 August and 1 October. Classes which would have been timetabled for the second public holiday, that is, Monday 1 October will be taught on Tuesday 2 October (Tuesday will be deemed to be a Monday). Classes normally scheduled on Tuesday 2 October will not be held.- All-day event
