Indigenous Research Network - "Whats so different about research in Aboriginal Communities?"
Dr Shawn Wilson is an Opaskwayak Cree from northern Manitoba, Canada, who now makes his home in Bundjalung territory in Australia. His main interest lies in discussing the ways of knowing, being, and conducting research used by indigenous peoples.
In the presentation, Shawn Wilson will discuss how indigenous researchers themselves have addressed this issue.
