Adjunct Associate Professor David Schak will examine several key differences between Taiwan and the PRC and offer an explanation of why Taiwan society has been transformed while the PRC has not. Included in this discussion will be Taiwan's democratization process, its becoming a society for itself, and its adoption of post-industrial values.
