This seminar explores extensive empirical work conducted on the use of torture by the police in Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Mike's presentation takes a retrospective look at his design pedagogy research, focusing around creative processes and interpretation, particularly the process of interpreting words into pictures. Within an educational context, he is interesed in helping to de-mystify the design process to assist students to develop stronger meta-cognitive awareness of their approach to design and to help them understand the symbolic relationship between critical and creative thinking.
