MHIQ Program Seminar Series - Infection & ImmunityThe presentation by Dr Begoña Heras describes how autotransporter (AT) proteins enable bacteria to aggregate with other bacteria and adhere to human cells. She will discuss how knowledge from her current research is developing methods to disrupt this AT function. Dr Timothy Wells will discuss his research investigating the mechanisms and treatment of inhibitory antibody that exacerbates P. aeruginosa lung infections.
