This pair of seminars address the issue of "sustainable statistics", and in particular the "small data" situation researchers are in before they can justify the outlay and resources to conduct a large study. We allocate 90 minutes to the whole session: each seminar will last 20-30 minutes, each followed by a 10-15 minute discussion time.
