Development and validation of a cardiovascular risk assessment tool for people with type 2 diabetes

This presentation discusses the development and validation of a cardiovascular risk model for Omani adults with type 2 diabetes. This is the first cardiovascular risk model developed for Omanis with type 2 diabetes, showing adequate validity. ​A/Prof Patricia Lee, a senior epidemiologist in Public Health at the School of Medicine & Dentistry, specializes in biostatistics and public health research.
