The visions of Charles Bonnet Syndrome: Vicky Hamilton

Made as a response to the challenges of the lived-experience of pseudo-hallucinations, this exhibition seeks to highlight Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS). CBS gives rise to a fascinating world where the realm of image crosses over into the realm of perception. Resulting purely from a loss of sight, CBS visions fill in the void left by the absence of image. Thirteen worldwide participants co-created the series of works including videos, images, and sculptures.

Tossing and Turning: Liam Johnston

Tossing and Turning is a photographic installation by QCAD Alum Liam Johnston that merges ready-made objects with images to explore the liminal space between rest and unrest, both fleeting and perpetual. Framed through a distinctly Australian lens, the work navigates the suburban gothic and the banal, extending a visual vocabulary rooted in deadpan aesthetics toward a speculative language of death and intimacy.
