Hackathon
Hackathon is 30 hours of creativity and collaboration where you can design and create your very own app.During the Hackathon, students work in teams to build an app that would greatly improve student life. It takes all skills to develop an app: project management to guide the team, graphic design for the User Interface, comms, marketing, advertising or PR to present and persuade the judges, and of course, coding and app development skills too.
Global Networking BBQ (Gold Coast Campus)
Each semester in Week 10 we host the Global Networking Function, a semi-formal event designed to link students from different cultures. Through a range of networking activities students have the opportunity to discuss culture, language and lifestyle.

Games Afternoons (Nathan Campus)
Each week the Griffith Mates host a range of regular and GIANT sized games on campus. Take a study break and join us for a game of Giant Jenga, Connect Four or Chess, or a "regular" sized game of Jenga, Connect Four, Chess, Scrabble, Yahtzee and more!
Bush Care (Mt Gravatt Campus)
The Brisbane Griffith Mates have teamed up with the Bulimba Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee (B4C) to offer students the opportunity to give back to the tranquil bushland surrounding Griffith University.
