The Three Minute Thesis is a research communication competition that challenges higher degree by research (HDR) students to present a compelling oration to a non-specialist audience about their thesis in just three minutes.
Students compete within their academic groups. The top four HDR students and one Honours student from each Academic Group will then compete in the Griffith 3MT final, with the Griffith winner going on to compete in the Australian and New Zealand 3MT Competition.

By attending the event, you can find out what it’s like to be a researcher, and mingle with research students, supervisors and researchers following the competition.
