After a successful Coastal Hazard Management Short Course held in 2013 with more than 40 participants from local government, industry and universities, we are delighted to bring you the second edition, covering coastal hazard management theory and practice relevant to Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
The course will be given by Griffith University experts and external government officers and industry professionals.

Study Tour of the Gold Coast
The study tour will include a visit to the main coastal management hotspots of the Gold Coast, including the Tweed River Sand Bypass Systems, the iconic beaches of Palm Beach, Burleigh Heads and Surfers Paradise and the artificial reef at Narrowneck.
