The Griffith Mates kick off each semester with The Amazing Race.
We place students into diverse teams and send them off on a race around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Teams are given a set of fun challenges to compete in exchange for points, which also helps to introduce new students to their city!
After the race we host a free BBQ and entertainment while we tally up the points. Prizes are awarded to teams that earn the most points, while the team that comes in last place literally earns the wooden spoon!
