Winter School: Grad Certificate Policy Analysis

Griffith Business School and the School of Government and International Relations offers Graduate Certficate in Policy Analysis (GCPA) online students, alumni and ANZSOG Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) students an exciting opportunity to particiapte in the inaugural, non-residential Winter School at Griffith's Gold Coast campus. The Winter School is an opportunity to find out what's now at the cutting edge of theory and practice, while re-connecting with your peers and developing your networks.

Program: The Winter School will be run in two streams; one for our online cohort and the other for our alumni and Masters level students.

GCPA online students: The Winter School is an opportunity to engage face-to-face with your cohort whilst undertaking workshops and seminars. You will have the opportunity to grow your network and learn from our nationally and internationally renowned team of academics, practitioners and GCPA alumni.

GCPA alumni and ANZSOG EMPA students: Re-engage with your learning community this winter by undertaking the three day course, New Directions in Policy Analysis (7031GIR). This stream will offer an exciting professional development opportunity for all alumni. Those seeking credit for the completion of their Master of Public Administration (MPA) or ANZSOG EMPA will obtain 10 Credit Point (CP) towards your award by formally enroling in this Winter School course and completing the assessment component.

Activities for both streams include: An expert panel examining the Commission of Audit. Our panel will include: Professor Gary Sturgess, Professor of Public Service Innovation, School of Government and International Relations; Professor Kaye Ferres, Griffith School of Humanities; and Ms Barbara Belcher, Former First Assistant Secretary in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.

For students undertaking New Directions in Policy Analysis (7031GIR) as an elective subject towards the completion of their award, normal enrolment procedures and fee structures will apply.
