Queensland Conservatorium staff and students from the years 1974, 1984, 1994 and 2004 are invited to a Director's Invitational Event on Saturday 30 August. Hosted by Professor Scott Harrison, a 1984 and 2004 graduate, this special event encompasses a performance of Into the Woods followed by a cocktail reception where you'll have the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and teachers.
Inspired by Grimm’s fairy tales, Into the Woods is about life after the ‘happily ever after’. This award winning contemporary musical is a humorous yet poignant look at fairy tales and what they mean for our modern day lives. This production of Into the Woods is presented by our final year Bachelor of Musical Theatre students, directed by Kate Wilson with musical direction by UK-based Sondheim expert Stuart Pedlar.
