Meet the Speaker
Griffith alumnus and Channel Nine Queensland’s Nine News weekend presenter and reporter, Eva started her career in front of the camera in 2004 with a freelance position with Nine Gold Coast News.
After completing her Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication at Griffith in 2005, Eva became the program’s full-time weather presenter in January 2006. Along with her presenting commitments, she also reported on local stories as part of the News team.
Eva completed her Bachelor of Business at Griffith University in 2001, and was crowned Miss World Australia. She competed for the Miss World title in South Africa where she was fortunate enough to meet Nelson Mandela.
Eva is a mother of two and proud alumnus of Griffith University.
