GSBRC presents this follow-up workshop to one presented earlier in the year on Conversation Analysis, in which the concepts, methods and research foci of CA were presented. This workshop will be more hands-on, with audio and video extracts from a range of conversational and institutional settings to illustrate how CA works with data, and the kinds of insights that it can provide into how conversation (including Indigenous Australian conversation) and interactions in educational and health settings work. While attendance at the earlier workshop, or some prior knowledge of CA, would be advantageous, the workshop will be designed to be inclusive of those without such prior knowledge.
