Three Minute Thesis Competition Griffith Final

Three Minute Thesis Competition Griffith Final

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a competition which challenges research students to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic, communicating its significance to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. At Griffith, the competition not only provides professional development and networking opportunities for our research student community, it presents an opportunity to showcase Griffith research across the disciplines to the university community and general public.

Our competitors compete within their academic groups and advance to compete in the Griffith 3MT Final.

Unique to Griffith is the Honours category where Bachelor/Master with Honours students compete alongside our HDR candidates. Up to sixteen PhD and four Honours students will compete to win $1,000 in research prize money, and the winner will represent Griffith at the Trans-Tasman 3MT Competition in November.

This is a great event to learn more about Griffith research and to support our early career researchers.

Register on the Griffith 3MT website to attend this event.
