What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxGriffithUniversity, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxGriffithUniversity event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organised.
What is TEDxGriffithUniversity?
The pursuit of knowledge drives humanity. In science, in medicine, in creative arts, in sport, in relationships, in all things we do, we want to gather, share and implement knowledge. With the Gold Coast, one of Australia's most interesting cities, as the backdrop, this TEDxGriffithUniversity event will explore what motivates us to seek this knowledge and how it can manifest at the personal, local, regional and global levels.
