Performing space, considering transformation, redefining sound.
After seven weeks investigating architecture, acoustics, sound, transformation and ideas alongside students from Griffith Architecture, the New Music Ensemble of Queensland Conservatorium will present a series of intimate performance pieces they have composed. Starting with the large ensemble in the con foyer, audience members will be directed into a colour-coded choose your own adventure: entering practice rooms for miniature performances, before scurrying along to the next one. An hour of magical sound making that examines the way we listen in space.
