State of the Nation: Thailand "Nine Things to Know about Thailand"

State of the Nation: Thailand

Asialink Business and the Griffith Asia Institute invite you to

State of the Nation: Thailand – ‘Nine Things to Know about Thailand’

with Mr James Wise, Former Australian Ambassador to Thailand and Ms Rananda Rich, Manager, Blackmores Thailand

Thailand is now Australia's eighth-largest goods and services trading partner, and the second-largest in ASEAN. Total Thai investment stock in Australia has grown significantly from $338 million in 2006, to $6.1 billion in 2013.

Australia and Thailand have longstanding and deep connections, yet not enough Australian businesses are aware of the export and investment opportunities the country offers.

James Wise, Former Australian Ambassador to Thailand, will present ‘Nine Things to Know about Thailand”, addressing issues that Australian companies tend not to know about the country’s operating environment for exporters and investors.

We hope you can join us for this opportunity to hear from and participate in a Q&A session with Mr Wise and Ms Rich.
