Out of the Auditory Exhibition

Out of the Auditory Exhibition

Out of the Auditory, aims to investigate how the sonic properties of materials and spaces can be considered as a creative influence in the design of buildings and structures. Through a critical investigation of the theory and practice of aural architecture, third year architecture students from Griffith University developed designs for aural architectural interventions to show how a site can be activated in this way. The students took as their site of investigation the Grey Street entrance to the Conservatorium building, South Bank. From over 60 designs, 11 have been selected for the exhibition and these will be displayed in panels and physical models.

Please join us for drinks and a celebration of sound and design interplay.

The Exhibition is open from 24th to 28th August.
