Understanding Chronic Conditions Program: An Update

Over the next two decades, chronic conditions will account for 80% of our nation’s ill health and represent more than 70% of all healthcare costs.

Exploring the fundamental basis of disease biology in order to develop innovative strategies and therapies for the prevention and management of chronic conditions.

Menzies Health Institute Queensland comprises of three overarching research programs. This will be a discussion about strategic initiatives and opportunities on the Understanding Chronic Conditions program, and an update on how groups within the program will be developed. 

There will be time reserved for questions and offering of suggestions.
