Embracing the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games legacy

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games is about much more than providing the best competition for athletes and the best event for spectators—it is about continuing to build the Gold Coast into a vibrant economic hub and contributing to a more prosperous, healthy and cohesive community.

Join our expert panel for an update on the city's 2018 Commonwealth Games and the significant piece of legacy to be delivered through the 200 hectare Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct, which incorporates Griffith University, Gold Coast University and Private Hospitals and the Commonwealth Games Village.

This panel will feature Mr Darren Scott, Director Economic Development & Major Projects, City of Gold Coast; Ms Diane Dixon, Project Director, Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct; and Mr Duncan Free OAM, Olympic Gold Medallist & Director, Griffith Sports College.

This is a free event with registration essential. Doors will open at 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start.
