The 2017 Sport Seminar Series brings together industry and subject matter experts for conversations on major sport events, club development, and sport performance.

The overarching theme of the 2017 series is 'educating and enriching lives through sport' by showcasing sport research at Griffith and its relevance and application to the sport industry. We provide a platform for discussion of key topics and the purposeful advancement of practice in the field.

The series provides excellent sport industry networking and professional development opportunities on the Logan campus.

The series target participation by local community members (e.g. council, sport clubs, local business, schools), and feature opportunities to study at Griffith University with the Griffith Business School (e.g., Sport Management) and showcase Logan campus sport facilities and venues.

The next sport seminar 'Connecting with the Commonwealth Games: Sport opportunities for Logan City' will be held on 13 June, 2017.
