Abstract: In this talk, Professor Wood will share insights on the journal ecosystem, and what it takes to get published. The talk includes advice on preparing initial submissions, selecting journals to target, how to avoid desk rejection, how to survive revise and resubmits, and how to enhance your citation profile.

Speaker: Geoffrey Wood, Dean and Professor of International Business, Essex Business School, University of Essex, UK, is Editor of the British Journal of Management, Editor of the Annals of Corporate Governance, and Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Perspectives. He is also Editor of the Chartered ABS Journal Ranking List.

Professor Wood has been an Adjunct member of the Centre for Work, Organisation and Wellbeing, Griffith University, since 2012.
