Griffith Enterprise (GE) is the University's dedicated office for business and government engagements, innovations and new ventures. GE's vision is to see Griffith successfully working in partnerships with industry, government and the not-for-profit sectors, to create meaningful solutions.

GE helps external partners connect with the University's research capability, knowledge and innovations. They connect industry and government to expertise within Griffith that can be applied to help them with their priorities.

GE also connects Griffith University staff with opportunities to apply their research and expertise to significant social and commercial issues, whilst protecting the intellectual property of the University. This includes support with responding to tenders and proposals, as well as connecting staff with Griffith academics in other disciplines who have complementary capabilities.

With a growing focus on the impact of research from government and the university sector, consultancy and commercial research projects are attractive for both Griffith staff and our partners.

Seminar Overview: Connecting with Industry through Consultancy and Commercial Research ('CCR')

This seminar is designed for early career researchers who are interested in finding and securing consultancy and commercial research opportunities, and will include an overview of the role of Griffith Enterprise, as well as the nature of consultancy and commercial research projects and the benefits of becoming involved in these opportunities.

At a practical level, we will walk you through how GE can assist you with pursuing research through CCR projects, including making connections, pricing your projects, protecting your intellectual property and ultimately, maximising your chances of success.
