The exhibition will show a unique Chinese ethnic art form - Chinese painting. The theme depicted by the artists is the special landscape painting and characteristics of special minority figure painting of Guangxi province. Guangxi is the largest minority among 55 minorities in China with around 50 million population and located at the far south China bordering with Vietnam. This exhibition is not only encouraging intercultural dialogue for artists from Guangxi and Queensland but also a new artistic vision for local publics.
The artists will show the traditional Chinese painting technique. It will offer an opportunity for local artists or artistic fans to participate in traditional Chinese painting practice.
