Ian Dunlop - Energy Advisor and Chairman of Safe Climate Australia
Ian Dunlop has wide experience in energy resources, infrastructure, and international business. He has worked at director and CEO level in oil, gas and coal exploration and production, in scenario and long-term energy planning, competition reform and privatization.
Ian chaired the Australian Coal Association from 1987-88, and from 1998-2000, he chaired the Australian Greenhouse Office Experts Group on Emissions Trading which developed the first emissions trading system design for Australia. From 1997 to 2001 he was CEO of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ian has a particular interest in the interaction of corporate governance, corporate responsibility and sustainability.
Professor Ingrid Burkett - Co-Director, The Yunus Centre, Griffith University
Professor Ingrid Burkett is a social designer, designing processes, products and knowledge that deepen social impact and facilitate social innovation. She has contributed to the design of policy and processes in a diversity of fields, including community development, local economic development, disability, procurement and social investment. Ingrid led the foundation of social procurement in Australia with a number of guidebooks and research reports. She is one of the co-founders of Social Procurement Australasia. She also provided much groundwork for Australia's entry into social and impact investment, having undertaken seminal research work whilst Social Innovations Manager at Foresters Community Finance, and then undertaking comprehensive reviews and blueprint development for initiating place-based impact investment in Australia. She brings to this project long-standing experience in social enterprise evaluation, co-design and facilitation.
Adjunct Professor Clarence Tan - Futurist and Global Ambassador and Board Advisor for OpenExO
With OpenExO, Clarence assists in transforming individuals, organizations and institutions to grow exponentially. He is also the co-founder of Exponential Positive Impact Capital (EPIC) and Gogotech.co, the makers of affordable and portable smart wheelchairs and the CEO of Dr CT Pty Ltd and Austanco Pty Ltd, a private equity fund. He was also the founder of Bond Wireless, an Australian-based award-winning wireless software applications and services company. Prior to that he was an academic and an investment banker. Clarence has been involved in a number of start-ups as a founder, mentor and investor. He is passionate about exponential technologies particularly in the areas of education, health, seeking and sharing knowledge through humor.
