Understanding and embedding impact into your research

Principal speaker

Dr Julia Hocking

Understanding the way in which research impact is measured and assessed is critical for those seeking competitive funding, as well as ensuring outcomes are delivered to the intended as well as wider audiences. This session will explore the definition of research impact, and guide researchers on how to embed a pathway to impact from the outset of their research planning and design. The aim is to help achieve, increase and measure high impact outcomes from research, including beyond traditional academic measures.
