Systematic style reviews in Health: Building a robust search strategy
Systematic style reviews in Health: Building a robust search strategy

Principal speaker

Michelle DuBroy & Bonnie Dixon

Your library specialists will demonstrate expert search techniques using an example systematic review research question, for you to later apply to your own review search strategy. You will learn to use these techniques through activities and discussions. The workshop will include topics like search concepts and synonyms, adjacency searching, subject headings (MeSH) and more.

On completion of this workshop participants will be familiar with:
- expert search techniques they can later apply to their own systematic style review
- how to break-down a systematic style review question into key concepts in order to create an effective search strategy

This session will be most valuable for researchers in the Health disciplines who are considering or conducting a systematic-style review (e.g., systematic, scoping, integrative, etc.).
