This seminar workshop for Early Career Researchers will provide an overview of academic publishing strategies to help build your research profile.

Participants are introduced to common strategies to resolve issues involved with academic publishing. Discussion highlights professional advice given by senior academics during the session. Topics covered include: The publishing process - strategies and journal selection; Conflict issues in research - responsible conduct and authorship; Editors perspective - authors and the peer review process; Publishing models - Open scholarship; Copyright and other services at Griffith.

Target audience are ECRs and late candidature HDRs who currently wish to successfully publish their research in articles or books. Includes those who are engaging with peer review/editing processes.
