This session will provide an overview of the Griffith University New Researcher Grant (NRG) and Griffith University Postdoctoral Fellowship (GUPF) schemes for Early Career Researchers (ECRs).

NRG - This scheme aims to enable ECRs to undertake small research projects that will lead to larger scale projects and high quality publications that will assist the researcher to develop their track record to be competitive for external grants.

This scheme is for ECRs who are within 5 years outside their PhD conferral as at the date of the Academic Group/Glycomics application 2022 internal closing date. Eligibility is limited Griffith staff.

GUPF - This scheme aims to attract and retain high calibre Early Career Researchers and Early Career Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Researchers and to provide support to develop their research potential and track record and establish a successful career trajectory.

Eligibility is limited to both internal and external applicants with a PhD awarded not more than 3 years prior to the 2022 final closing date for Stage 2 applications.
