In this panel discussion moderated by artist Phillip George, the decades long so-called war on terror enmeshed in the political concerns of the contemporary moment, the heightened tragedy of war, oppression, marginalisation, both internal and external, are brought to the fore. Each panellist reflects upon their practice, and the historical and contemporary socio-political conditions that permeate the realities and lived conditions of many of the communities across West Asia.
