The Queensland Heat Health Community of Practice (QHHCoP) is proud to present our online event, "Heat Action in Queensland: A Showcase of Local Government Heat Projects"

This event will be focused on building momentum about heat as an issue by exploring the knowledge and experiences of our QHHCoP members working in local government.

After a showcase of local government heat projects, we will have a facilitated discussion to identify needs, knowledge gaps and barriers to success to help progress heat health work in Queensland.

David Francis, Senior Environmental Planner for Moreton Bay Regional Council. Presenting Cool Streets: Moreton Bay Regional Council

Dr Wendy Miller, Australian Representative for Annex 80. Presenting Policy Recomendations for Resilient Cooling from the International Energy Agency's Annex 80.
