Join us for our next life drawing workshop "Drawing the draped figure' with Dr Stephen Newton!
Participants will be introduced to a range of introductory and advanced mixed-media drawing materials and techniques. The drawings will be based on the human figure and the use of selected fabrics to enable participants to explore expressive relationships between the human form, and the patterns and layers observed in drapery.
About Stephen:
Dr Stephen Newton is a visual artist and educator with a national exhibition and commission profile in sculpture. A recipient of numerous awards and grants, he has completed projects across Australia and has extensive experience working in education, consultation, collaboration, design, fabrication, and installation to develop inspired sculptural projects of place.
