Join us for our next life drawing workshop with Rachel Monique Walker on Wednesday 12 July! Connect with our current exhibition 'Chantal Fraser: The Ascended' in a life drawing workshop inspired by the artist's adorned protective equipment and makeshift shields in "Riot Gear' (2015-2023). Rachel Monique Walker will guide participants in making mixed-media drawings of a life model, which will then be decorated and enhanced with collaged images of jewels, gold and silver tape and Posca pens.
About the facilitator: Rachel Monique Walker is an artist and designer living on Jagera and Turrbal country working with paper collage. Her highly blended collage works combine hundreds of images until they reach a pleasing synthesis, almost organic in appearance.
