The session will focus primarily on the European Union's Research & Innovation Framework Programme - Horizon Europe and delve deeper into Pillar I (Excellent Science) and Pillar II (Global Challenges). Details on Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), European Research Council (ERC) Grants, ERC's Implementing Arrangements with NHMRC & ARC as well as NHMRC-EU Collaborative Research Grant Scheme will be discussed. A high-level overview of Pillar II will also be presented to showcase how and what involvement in collaborative research grants would entail.
