The Research Higher Degree Induction Program is a specialised, research-focused orientation day for commencing RHD students, and attendance at one prior to confirmation is compulsory.

Hosted by Professor Parlo Singh, Dean, Griffith Graduate Research School, you can expect to learn about:

- policies and procedures
- research scholarships
- thesis examinations
- keeping informed
- project management for thesis writers
- career planning
- research ethics
- commercialisation and intellectual property
- library research
- health and safety
- the student / supervisor relationship (first hand accounts from Griffith supervisors and research students)

You'll also be able to ask any questions you have, meet fellow research students, network and talk face-to-face with key University research staff and guest presenters.

The day is fully catered.

If you can't make it along to Nathan campus, a Gold Coast day will be running sometime in May and will be advertised in due course.
