Volunteer with BeachCare

Come along and care for your local beach with BeachCare! Help make a difference to our coastal environment by planting natives, removing invasive weeds and picking up litter. Activities are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Please be sure to wear enclosed shoes or you will not be able to participate. Equipment and light refreshments will be provided, please bring a water bottle and wear sunsmart clothing.

The School of Engineering is holding an official Launch of Large-Scale Concrete Testing Program. This Program is the result of an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery grant, which the School was successful in attracting to experimentally and numerically study the progressive collapse mechanisms of concrete flat plate structures. This type of structure represents one of the most common construction system used worldwide and is extensively used in Australian buildings.

3 Minute Thesis Griffith Final

3MT is an academic competition that challenges HDR candidates to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. After competing in their group heats, 13 finalists from across Griffith University will compete in the Griffith 3MT Final.The winner of this event will be representing Griffith University at the Asia-Pacific competition, to be hosted by The University of Queensland on Friday 29 September 2017.
