The Griffith University Mentoring Program is about to celebrate its 20th anniversary. A large percentage of our Industry mentors over the years have been Griffith University alumni.
The Griffith Industry Mentoring Program commenced in 1994 with just 15 students and 15 mentors, ‘book-ended’ by small opening and ‘thank you’ gatherings. The association between industry and learning in higher education was clearly ahead of its time. Since the early beginnings the Program has grown substantially. For the past few years over 200 students (and the same number of mentors) drawn from a range of disciplines from all five Campuses each year have taken part in the second semester Program.
• This event will showcase the quality and strength of the current Industry Mentoring Program.
• Good opportunity to launch the new Griffith Global eMentoring Program as an extension of the program in 2014.
• Clearly showing the linkage between the Griffith Experience, graduate outcomes and the wonderful ways in which our alumni are giving back to the university.
