Griffith Science Education Alliance in partnership with Rotary hosts four Science and Engineering Challenges in South-East Queensland. Two events in South Brisbane at Canterbury College on the 27th and 28th of May and two events at Queensland Academies - Health Sciences campus on the 30th and 31st of May, 2019.
The Challenge is open to all schools with only 8 school places each day. Schools would ideally register teams up to 32 students from Year 9 and 10. The Science and Engineering Challenge was developed by the University of Newcastle to inspire young people, through fun and practical hands-on activities, about current and future opportunities available in STEM.
Winners from each Regional Challenge proceed to the State Challenge, with the opportunity to continue through to the National Challenge.
It is one of our most popular events and registrations often sell out within an hour of registrations opening. Registration costs $480 for 32 students and will need to be paid via the Griffith PAY link to complete the registration process.
Registration will open around April 2019.
